Default LT1 HELP

This is for my buddy who has a 95 z28 130,000 miles on it's Lt1. Goin about 100 my estimation and the car detonated and started smoking like a chimney the rest of the way home.Pulled over and it was coming from the tail pipe There was oil spraying out of the dipstick tube.It still runs but like ****. I think when it detonated it may have blew a hole in the piston or broke a ring. What do you guys think??
