AS&M Headers on 94 Z-28?
Since my wife spent all my money on her new Durango R/T I can't really afford to pay to have my headers put on by a speed shop. I have done plenty on old cars and helped remove a set from an LT1. But anyway here is my question... Do I have to weld the Y pipe to the Cat? Or is it a slip fit? If it is a slip fit I'm gonna put those bad boys on this weekend!!! If I'm not mistaken you will have to cut the pipe to fit the Y pipe on then use a band clamp to hold it in place. I would rahter use a band clamp to hold it in place because if you ever need to drop the tranny for any reason later on in the future you can just take the Y pipe off and have more room to work with when dropping the tranny. Just my $0.02
