Default Valve train question??

I will be putting a comp cc306 in my car in a couple weeks now and I am stuck on 1 thing I will be using stock heads with 1.6RRs and new springs should I change the push rods or is this not necessary. My car currently has 75k on it on a very well taken care of motor. If it is a good idea to change what should I use I was thinking of a pair of comp forged push rods or something similar if needed. Also were can I find a good pair of 1.6RRs and what stud size.

You also should do the 7/16th studs while you are at it and run GMPP guideplates.

Changing pushrods to a better 1 piece design that is 4130 material is also a good idea.

this place normally has the best price on pro mags RR's. be sure to get the correct ones. stock stud is 3/8's, yo want self algining without the use of guide plates.

for that aggressive of a cam i would swap the push rods to some chrome moly's from comp. as for rockers you can get the summit 1.6rr's for cheap, theyre narrow body and self-aligning and you can stick with 3/8th studs. and you should actually go ahead and pick up some lifters too. i would just get the oem replacements that summit sells for like $120 or something. really for the rr's and lifters youre not going to see a difference till you get into head work( ie no need to switch to different lifters/stock are fine, no need for 7/16th studs, no need for more expensive rr's when youll see comparable results)
