Default need help a.s.a.p

came across a lil prob in my 95 lt1 z28. was going down the road car was running fine all day when it started to buck and stumble. like the ignition key was being turned on and off. then it let out a backfire. so i made it to work. let the car set for 4 hrs as im gettin ready to leave. i turn the key no fire. so i checked the coil no spark. then i asked my bud at his speed shop to lend me a msd blaster coil hook it up qwik . and to my suprise no spark at the plugs or from the coil. so now im left trying to figure if its the opti or the ignition module now. whats ya'lls take on this?

thanks in advance to any answers on this

From the sound of it I would say ignition module, but it could be opti as well. Only reason i say the module is cause it happened so fast. Not a general breakdown of things..

im hoping it isnt the opti. just had the cap n rotor replaced yesterday. by a shop. so if it is opti looks like theyll be eating cap n rotor. might go ahead and have the module tested.

Check for injector pulse with a noid light. If it doesn't have an inj. pulse it's prolly the opti, but if it does have a pulse it's likely a module.
