Re: i know but i have a quick lt1 header install question. yah the cats are what are keeping them in there. they bolts are all rusted and they won't come out with an air gun or 2 ft breaker bar.

i know but i have a quick lt1 header install question. k well i have this little lt1 firebird sitting in the garage right now and the guy cracked one of his heads. now i've got the driver side head off but i can't get the manifold out. the passenger side i can't get too the head bolts but i have all the manifold bolts out and i can't pull that one out either. i'ver tried threw the bottom and the top. any parts i need to remove to make this easier or is there a lt1 header install anywhere? wow lt1's are much bigger PITA's then our ls1's. thanks a bunch if you can help.
