the spec II is going down hill fast so i need to replace it very soon. a buddy of mine had SLP's lightweight LT4 clutch kit in his T/A and i loved the way it drove but the jerks don't sell it anymore. i'm also finding it difficult to locate Mcleod's performance single disc clutch (did a search in this forum, saw the kit mentioned and liked the price, $170). i don't need nor care to have a super high performance clutch again and i'm not real sure which companies have good, RELIABLE products so i'd like suggestions. if you pieced together your clutch components what did you use and where did you get them from. i need to keep this cheap, it was an unexpected failure and i can't afford to have any more problems down the road. any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I think the impala guys(meaning, the added wieght puts a strain on it), say the autozone clutch has held up very well.
