Need a cam for my lt1 in my 240z, HELP
Currently i have a hotcam in my car
here are the specs:
355ci 40 over basic rebuild.
6speed
Ported heads flowing 250/180
12:1 compression!!!
1.6 self align rockers
beehive 918 springs(to be)
shortie headers sandersons(only ones that fit)
electric water pump, no accessories
I dont need huge lowend because the car only weighs 2500lb, I'd like strong midrange and topend to about 6500, no more because its not a forged bottom end
I was looking at the XFI cams or the combo motorsports which are the same but on a 112lsa, xfi is 113
Which ones do I get? XFI has the 230/236 high lift cam and then the largest higher duration, but how much duration do i really need?
Combo has their 233/239 duration, .569"/.577", 112lsa , looks like a middle between the top xfi and the 1 step lower xfi
I'd like 400whp but my heads wont be all out huge heads, just a good ported stock head
How do these compare to the gm847 and cc306? SHould I go with the new?
