Default Way To Rich

96Z OBD-II, mods tha matter for this is a tune, Racetronix pump and harness, new filter, TR-6 plugs, MSD wires.

New O2 sensor in the left bank (drivers side). I don't want to have to rip out the exhaust for the passenger side untill I get headers lol for the other O2). No emmisions also but still has cats and has a new fuel filter.

Run tecron fuel injector cleaner threw it every now and then and 93-94 octane.

Right now it gets like 18mpg with the 3.42's and its throwing two codes for left and right bank to rich.... inside of my exhaust tips are super suty and I can smell fuel and have like a LIGHT white smoke or something (looks like fuel), just really light white/gray in collor.

I also found a few tears in my intake elbow that I assume would cause inductions leaks. I also have a new adjustable fuel pressure regulator about to go in. Think that should take care of it? Everything besides the injectors would be aftermarket lol. Maybe the tune and fuel pump and my driving style is just to much on the old stock regulator and I know that elbow is not helping.

When I pulled the plugs a few months ago they looked pretty good but I change them every 5k miles and its gotten a lot worse since then.

Whats funny is that the car still runs like a raped ape and skated to high 13's but I think its been doing this all season lol

seal those intake leaks! and check the exhuast for leaks. I would think that the untake leaks would make it run lean, but I bet the computer is over compinsating. Don't waste your time with the ajustable regulator, all it does is cause more problems. the PCM is pretty smart, and will see the lower/higher fuel PSI, and adjust to make it useless. also, tighten the intake bolts down, and replace the TB gaskets.

leaks leaks leaks, I bet it's where the issue is coming from.
