air bag bought another trans am there is a noise coming from the front of the motor sounds like the water pump and the air bag light is on but the car has never been wrecked.were is the sensor for it
The Sensor is behind, just left of the Hood Latch. The light can be on for a number of things... The Fuze could be blown, I would start there. I have mine disconnected, so the light is always on.
Check grounds under the hood. Sand down the connections and see if that makes the light go off. I had the air bag light come on one time and it was a bad ground that is just behind the positive distrubution block on the passenger side inner fender.

there a lot of times peple will remve the streering wheel and never hook it bacl up. one other this the is a airbag cable on a spring loaded tensor so when yoou turn the the wheel it extends and retracs as need some times they get broke like i.e unhooking the sterring whell to instal headers and spinng the wheel to many times will break it. you can actially hear it snap.i actially sell them at work todd
