my buddy has a 1996 impala and he will be going down the hiway and evrything will be fine . then the car will act like it runs out of gas . it will spuder and act like its going to die then it will pick back up and be fine .
where should we start looking for the problem ?
the fuel pump is about 1 year old and the coil is new .

i was thinking it time for a new opti .

 

fuel filter,opti.

 

fuel filter or fuel pump would be what i would check first
