My Elty is slow!?!
My Elty is slow!?! Or maybe it's just me. I managed a best of 14.6@98mph last night. Ouch. That track wasn't prepped well at all, I couldn't grab traction until the top of second; my best 60' was 2.3 (4.10s + street tires). Ouch. I didn't powershift, but I didn't exactly attempt to polish off my pork-chop sandwhich between shifts, either. I think my car is lacking a little bit of 'routine maintenance hp' and I just ain't got the money for anything. I'm gonna put her on the dyno in the next few weeks and if she's making less than 250, then I'll know I'm right.
Haha I ran like a 9.4 in the 1/8th but that was missing 2nd because my tranny is limpin. So I wouldnt worry your not the only slow F-body. You prolly just need a lil maintenance and youll be back and kickin. Im prolly gonna put mine on the dyno in the next couple weeks to do the same as you.

use this, http://www.speedworldmotorplex.com/calc.htm and this, http://www.torinocobra.com/horsepower.htm. a guy on ISSF said they were pretty damn close. and I saw they were.
The first one was 4hp off af his actual engine hp, dyno'd by 2 different guys.
weight 4320 trap speed 105. engine dyno results were 466hp, then later 465hp.
ya know, so you can maybe save a lil money.(just looking out) but dyno graphs are cool too...

Dont feel so bad I just ran a 15.1@90 last night! But my tranny is bad, posi gone along with my opti, and my ehxaust is leaking bad too! I have been having problems just starting the damn thing after it rains! I wanted to see where its at before I bring it in under the knife, next year I will have everything fixed up, rebuilt trans, new rear-end, LE2 heads and cam with a full exhaust.
