Default Track time....

Ok since this has to do w/an lt1 I figured this would be the best place... ok no laughing and bs comments.. its my first time at the track in 4 yrs and I"ve never driven an auto in my life..

9.64 was the best pass w/my car at like 230 degrees... I bogged out of the hole 60ft was 2.36 or so... the car is bone stock except for a muffler... and had a little over half tank of gas...

If I can get my 60ft down to 2.0 what should I run.. and what are some tips to get it there... as far as launching a stock auto on street tires??

stall plus sticky tires.

And get a fan switch/tune to help it run cooler.

Congrats man, gotta start somewhere and once you break the ice it just becomes more competitive each time you go? My first 1/4 mi pass in PEPE was a mere 14.1 and that was before I even named her PEPE

there are some good online calculators for your power to weight ratios that use data like your 60' times, etc to estimate what you potentially could run, if I find the link I'll post it for ya.
