went to track today.
so, i wanted to check my 60' only and ended up ruining, my best run 13.1 @ 170kph (106mph) with 1.8 60', with the 2.73 and an almost full tank and my heavy *** in the car, and still managed to pass an LS1 camaro, and I'm really happy with that.
the excuses:
not tuned at all. (car is ruining rich)
suspension not setup at all.
full tank of fuel.
2.73 final drive ratio.
stock shift points (was hitting the limiter in every gear)
ZR1's.
i had a lot of extra weight in the car (food, drinks, cloths..etc) and didn't even bother to remove the spare tire and other ****.
with all that said, I'm not mad at all, next time I'm going to the track with the less than half tank of fuel (race gas), tuned, suspension set up properly, lighter wheels, back seats off.
and just for the recored the BBK 58mm TB craped out on me (whats new lol) and I installed the stock one back, hope fully i will fix the BBK or buy an as&m.
this Monday I'm taking the car to the dyno and will get it tuned by a professional.
hit me with your comments and idea's please.

I don't have much done to it.
...I still run mine on the track with a few hand tools, gotta cut that **** out though she's gotta get lean. Professional dyno-tune will make a big difference on your lt1. I order my parts from the internet, and install most of them my self, PM me if u need any help in the area.
just doin general maintenance to make run perfect then i'll start moddin.. it seems the only way to get stuff is through the internet.. i've searched and searched but no place to find parts at... i hope i can do most of the stuff by my self but my experiance is with old Chevy blocks as i owned a 78' K5 blazer with 350 inside.. i loved that car it was so easy to work with,, technology makes things harder and harder.. but i'm on the way
glad u are here and please post some pics of ur ride.. you didn't show up tonight, I only went there coz alaa told me u'll be there.
...I still run mine on the track with a few hand tools, gotta cut that **** out though she's gotta get lean. Professional dyno-tune will make a big difference on your lt1.merv, they grip really nice, look very nice, but you will need all the BFH mod that you can do, i still take the wheels out and BFH new spots every few days, but if you dint take turns on a high speed like I do, you wont have such problems.
