Take all the bolts out of the steering linkage. Tap it off from the steering rack and then proceed to tap it off from the steering column. This is all it took to do mine last weekend.

I see one bolt to take out. I srayed it down with WD40 and called it a night. A fun job for a first timer by myself (for removal) and a pair of jack stands . Only slammed my fingers once today lol

All finished up...except for y-pipe back, but the hard part is done. As far as the steering, I just removed the plastic boot and the 1 bolt there, then moved it out of the way. Pretty easy really.
I could prob do it in 1/4 of the time next time headers come around. Good experience though
