Default Jet Fan Switch

I just purchased the lt1 jet performance fan switch, today I went to install it and the wiring harness does not reach from the connector to the water pump. Has anyone else had this problem?

Should i just lengthen the wires? I wonder why the harness does not reach.

It doesn't reach because the sensor/switch unit is meant to screw into the cylinder head drain plug hole near the dipstick tube, not the water pump.

Yup, there is a plug in the watter fitting back there.

My opinion? Return the Jet switch, do it right, in programming with something like LT1 edit. The settings on the Jet are not that good, and the harnesss tends to melt on the headers.

Want a spare Jet switch? I got one. My fan settings are modified in programming now.
