Default Z06 Brakes

I just did a 13" Z06 front brake conversion and resulted in a slight improvement. I am thinking its the brake pads I put on, there GM Dura Stops. I was planning on a greater improvement. Does anyone have experience in these pads? Would different pads have a better result?

They are fine pads, you problem is that probibly either the fluid needs to be flushed and re blead or just needs to be blead.

I flushed about two quarts during the change over. I was expecting a little more bite in .the pedal

Did you seat the pads properly? If you didn't you could have glazed them and that could account for the lack of bite. I switched from Powerslot rotors with hawk pads to the same brakes on mine and the difference was amazing.

Whats the procedure in seating the pads? It looked like it fit evenly, I rotated the rotors to see if they spun without rubing.
