cc306 on stock 1.5RR?
cc306 on stock 1.5RR? i am lookin to get into mid 12's with a cam. my car has a 80lb clutch, DR, mid length headers, slp loudmouth, etc.you know the basic bolt on car. it is a 96 slp ss.
car needs to be reliable DD
i've been told to go with a cc305 cam with 1.6 RR. new valves and new pushrods.
while searching online i found a similar article and one person brought up the idea of going with a cc306 cam with stock 1.5 RR but new springs/pushrods. which will give you pretty much the same lift and if i ever decide to go away from it being a DD i can go with head work and go 1.6 RR for a big lift.
i want to change as little as possible. some valvetrain parts at most, no injectors and timing chain etc.
what do you guys think of that
