My car overheated today =(

what i think happened was the bottom hose was lose and it moved or the tension in the rubber hose eventully made it leask because the clamp was not real tight... it was like.... a more than snug(but not TIGHT..lol).

So I HOPE that the hose being lose made it so the pump sucked air in and gave me air pockets and heated the **** out of my motor. Will find out tomarro when I refill it with fluid (half the radiator is empty) and get the air pockets out.

It was fine untill a few days ago.... then the temp would fluctuate... mainly getting hotter when i cam to a stop (rpms lower?) and would cool right now in the snap of a fingers if i started moving (so it wasn't the air flow... and the fans are on all the time)...

any ideas? Or does my indea make sence and the air pockets just fucked everything.

Fill it up and see if it still overheats.

Find someone with a burp funnel to get all the air out. GL though, hope it's alright.

Open up the Bleed Screws on the lines, and on the Thermostat Elbow when you run it. Close them when they spit constant fluid.

make sure you put some towels or something over the opti to keep it from getting wet.

Def. sounds like air bubbles, that was how my car was acting right after I put my opti on, had lots of air, car took 1/2 gallon the next day. With fans on it would get hot then instantly cool way down.

So this was all posted yesterday, how'd it go today?
