perceys hands down. ive been through mr. gasket, felpro, copper, and the shitty pacesetters. if you want to do it right go with the perceys the first time. and yes its the D-port gasket.

I used the ones that came with the headers, no complaints hear. I think the biggest problem people have with header gaskets is that they never check the header bolts and make sure they are tight, I check mine everyother week and their is always a couple that need tightining. No problems hear tho.

yea, the dead soft. their resuable, thick aluminum gasket that forms to the header and head where need be....autozone carries them also for i think 2 bucks more than other parts vendors. u might want to try there if u need them quick.
btw im not looking to be under my engine bay tightening headers bolts every other week....

just do not go with the copperseals, either the dead soft aluminums or the mr gasket ultra seals is my vote, you'll tighten the bolts for like 2 or so weeks and then you wont have to after that

i wasnt being a dick, just stating that if your going to do headers why mess around with bolts every week? get a bolt that will lock in place and a good gasket that wont blow out. the pacsetter gaskets have a potential of blowing out. and it sucks trying to get them off because they get burnt fast to the flange and head

Idk if they would work for the lt1 but on all of our first gen buildups we used the factory drop in gaskets for a chevy truck in felpro after we kept blowing header gaskets and they work amazing part number is ms9257b in felpro.

i went to autozone today to check it out and they do not carry percy's all they have is hooker, flowtech, and earls(but they cant order earls)...the hooker part number on the net comes up to just being flange gaskets..i cant find anything else out on them and flowtech is showing in their system as being $.01 for the set so im guessing they cant get them..i bought the mr gasket copper header gaskets and they dont seal on my motor AT ALL so what should i get now
