LT4 swap first...to swap over the whole upper lt4 package, do you have to notch the pistons for the valves?
what are the actuall power numbers for the lt4. gm is such a pain when they underate their motors.
anyone have a full lt4 swap?

No notching of the pistons required. I think GM rated the original LT4 at 330 with the LT4 stock cam which is very similar to LT1 cam. The same upper end with the hotcam and other supporting mods made 425 flywheel hp.
Used to run this kit on my 97ss. Now had the heads and intake profesionally ported with a custom cam and different valvetrain.
