Default Car dies in reverse and sometimes in drive

Car idles fine when in park or nuetral. When I go into reverse sometimes it's ok but then sometimes itll just shut down. IAC is new, TPS is good fuel pump is new fuel filter is new. What am I missing?

Check to see if the pcm is getting input from the park neutral switch. If it does not see the transition as you move the shifter it will not idle up to compensate for putting it gear.

I agree, your losing power somewhere...gotta be electrical. Also does it sound like it cuts off, or does it slowly die...like fuel or spark loss..

I was thinking the same thing because I noticed in Datamaster it doesnt reconise(sp?) park. It reads unknown in datamaster when in park.
It just cuts off. It doesnt slowly die.

I'd say its the Neutral Safety switch, or the wire coming from the PCM. Thats your problem
