Default cc306 and P&P heads

I decided to drop my 383 build for now due to time issues mainly college and want to go with a good top end set-up.
How would a cc306 act with headwork 1.6RR comp R lifts forged rods, and hooker LTs. Would I have to change converters and if so could I get away with running a 2000-2500 or 2800.
Also what number have people made with this set-up on with an A4 and good tuning I would like to get low 12s to 11s if possible.

PS This has nothing to do with my question but can the oil pan be droped and taken off with the motor in the car I have a nasty leak coming from my front seal and would like to replace both.

with a 306 stock heads and stall and gears mail order tune i run 11.9x...with heads cam it woud be no problem plus a 100 shot make it 11.2-11.3...id do it and leave the bottom end alone just dont puch it too hard, for an auto id so a 503 and sping it only 6300, i spin mine to 6800 but its been run through with new bearing and such... for the stall its what makes it a 13 sec car or an 11 sec car, im going to sell mine soon, its a fuddle 3200-3400 its nice and i daily drive it 25mpg freeway!!! spin the tires from 45... woohooo!!
