you might search for ls1 intakes on lt1 cars, and see if you can get the rubber bellow at a local store that adapts from the oval throttle body to a 3.5 inch so you can put on your mass air flow sensor and a filter. why cant you just buy an elbow?

The coupling you want is called a "Fernco" coupling.

Heres a quickie of the elbow...

From TB=>4" to 3" rubber coupler=>3" 90* street elbow=>3" of 3" pipe=>3" to 3" coupler=>MAF

All in all this cost less than $15, and you can use a dremel and make a hole for the IAT sensor, and one for the opti vent tube...

Man i love home depot...

I also made the rest of my intake from the MAF to the K&N conicals, including making my own heat shield...

If you have any more questions or need anymore help/info... feel free to ask.

Here is the first section, this has the 4" to 3" coupler and the 90* elbow...

Here is the elbow from TB to MAF...

Here is the same as above seperated...

Here is a couple inside shots of the elbow where the IAT is...

Here is a close up of the outside of the IAT location...

Here it is setup on the car...

Here is a piece after the MAF on mine...

Here is the center section with the MAF, I'll be replacing this with a straight piece of pipe as i am getting a speed density tune(no more MAF!)...

Here is a close up of the opti vent...

Here's a pic of my own made heat shield(made from a type of lexan, and poorly painted...)...

Here is what the rest of my intake looks like outside the car(i am pulling the filters to clean em)...

Hope this all helps, as with any custom job, its all by trial and fitting, but it works and fits under the stock hood(well it does in my camaro...) As always if you have any more questions, comments, or need any help, just ask...
