lt1 intake question

On the underside of the plenum, does the panel have a gaket or no? The one i have got powdercoated and i didn't take that off before it went to my dad. Any advice would be great! thanks guys.

Are you talking about the thin metal pan on the under side of the intake?
If so, I don't see why it would, but then again I've never taken one off?

No gasket on it or required. That pan blocks heat to keep the intake cooler to provide a cooler air charge.
