Knock Sensor Location Disassembled my '94LT1 several years ago, now it's all fresh and going
back together. I was about to install the new Knock sensor, thinking it
went on the left side of the block just above the oil filter. There is a 1/4"
pipe thread hole there, however... threaded portion is too short to reach
the hole, the block flairs out just below the hole to accept the filter. What
am I forgetting? Did the sensor originally have some type of extension that
I discarded?
