What type of spark plugs do you use?
What sparkplugs do you use in your car? I'm currently running NGK TR55's and have been pleased with them. When I do my header install, I want to switch plugs [even though the NGK's have about 2k on them at the moment]. I might upgrade to the NGK Iridiums, or just stick with the TR55's.
So what type of plugs are you running and how do you like them? And should I stick with the TR55 or upgrade to Iridiums?

if it aint broke dont fix it, replacing plugs during a header install is a good idea, however you might break one or two trying to fit the headers in so be careful. if the tr55's have been good to you then keep using them. they are what i run as well. just dont use bosch platinum plugs.

i had tr55's in mine... ran good... than i switched to tr55 ix iridiums.... i dunno maybe its all in my head, but i thought the car responded better after... so far i am happy with these... i would recomend upgrading to an iridium plug to anyone... gm also has iridium plugs, and denso aswell.. if u have the money go for it.. and its not hard at all to change the plugs.. i have LT's and it was a breez, the only tuff one is the far back passenger side... but mines an ls1... wen i had my lt1 i had shorties, and used a special short spark plug socket to make it alot easier...

Most of you should fine the AutoLite 106 too hot. I used the TR55s for some time but the new setup likes 104s better as they are slightly cooler.
A ROUGH list of popular plugs hot to cold would be
106
TR55(TR5 is same heat with smaller gap and easier to find just regap)
104
TR6
103
The TR6 and 103 are what you want to look at for boost of juice.
Iridium MIGHT be OK for performance use but platinum for the most part is not, platinum especially it's ONLY benefit is reduced gap erosion no performance benefit too it. Iridium's benefits would be mostly reduced gap erosion too, I doubt there is performance to be had with it though.
