1. Un-bolt and jack Motor up.
2. Un-bolt and remove Oil Pan.
3. Remove Gasket, clean surfaces, replace with Rubber Gasket.
4. Do opposite of step 2, then opposite of step 1.

How much do you know about the Car..as far as taking stuff apart. What do you want to know exactly? That really is a simple project, just did it in my other car.

I don't know if anyone has the exact name for them, but my Dad has them at his house. They are little Hydraulic Cylinders about 3" long, and are connected to a pump, which looks like a Grease Gun. They work extremely well, I am going to try and get them from him sometime, can't find them anywhere..

Use a engine hoist(cherrypicker)to lift the motor,I took a nylon strap around acouple header tubes and picked it up that,

Also one of the trannys,I can't recall which auto or manaul you have to pull the tranny out to do it because the pan wont side out with it bolted together.

easiest way is to unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the motor(i jacked it up by the front of the bellhousing which is a no-no but it worked)until you cant anymore(this is with a strut bar though you might be able to go higher without one) then i tie strapped the motor up to the strut bar and then i slowly loosened the 6 kmember bolts and only had to go down about half an inch and then the pan was able to come down...done it two times like that now

You have to jack the motor up about 2-3 inches. All you have are 2 main motor mount bolts, and you have to yake the oil cooler off as well to get to 2 bolts on the oil pan on the driver side. you have to take out the oil level sensor so you dont break it.When you get the oil pan hanging you need to make sure the motor is at TDC in order to slide the oil pan all the way out or you'll be hitting the crankshaft the whole time trying to get the oilpan out. Make sure you get a one peice rubber gasket by felpro. I've done this quite a few times. You'll do great.

That would probably be a M6 car, the Auto has that little metal shield on the bottom to protect the Convertor. That comes off very easily.
