Default Need Good Used Opti!!! Anyone??

ok so i dont want to spend 300+ for a new distributor... if anyone has one they dont need, let me know and i might buy it, new or used, preferably less than 50k miles on it. its for a 1994 z28

I have one that is nearly brand new, less then 5k miles. It is vented though.

Might as well just shell out for the correct one then :\ While the vented is nicer, it'll cost the same/more to get it working, right?

From personal bad experiance, I highly recommend getting a new one from the dealer.

i just need it for a few years, not more than 30k miles becuase eventually im going to upgrade to an ls6 or 7

Agreed.

BTW do you have the link to where you got the MSD Opti? I'm interested in getting one, especially if I can get it for around the price of an OEM one.

My Camaro club had arranged dealer pricing for us here in Toronto, and I also had dealer pricing with my Chev dealer... but that is up here..

I've seen it at Summit for $500 which is too high.... my MSD cost me less than the dealer opti..
so search around... perhaps there are vendors on this forum that give a reasonable price...

up here the prices are always higher than you get in the states..
