miss last time i went to the track, i noticed a miss when launching. but seemed to clear up very quickly so i just blew it off, thinking that it was just in my head. on the drive home on the highway during light acceleration the miss was very noticable. you could hear it as well as feel a "surge".
dreading having to purchase/install a new opti i blew it off for a couple days till i finally went out side after dark and popped the hood. and sure enough to my surprise i saw a light show all along the passenger side plug/plug wires.
sweet...no big deal right.....just replace 1-2 wires that got burnt by the headers.
NOT!! i pulled the wires...and nothing. so i replaced the wires. started the car and laid down underneath it again. and this time was able to see the light show coming from the #6 plug boot.
i have tried and tried to get the boot on "better". but its still arching at the boot/plug.
anyone have any ideas/suggestions???

Welcome to my world I have been fighting an arcing issue for months now with no fix. Mine is arcing through the wire itself, there is no burn or split in the wire I have replaced everything 3 times wiires,opti,plugs etc. The opti is also putting on a light show not arcing though it but it does a lot of bright flashes inside of it every time the car stumbles. If it was not for that the car would be a rocket ship, it does not miss at WOT but it might just be that I can not feel it. If I figure out my issue I will let you now and if you figure yours out repost the cure.
