Default camquest6 request!!!!

I have seen where someone has this program. would you please put in the specs for a 355 with full bolts ons and let me know what cam it says it the best and also let me know what it says about the 503 cam thanks in advance.

Computer programs are historically inaccurate when it comes to engines, especially cams. There's no way you can account for every single variable in an actual running engine. Call either the guys at Comp or a custom cam designer like Bret and get what they recommend.

You would be suprised!!!! Actually it takes more than just a program, it takes some expereince and engine knowledge to figure out what the motor wants you to give it. The programs out there can be junk or very good, and if you give the program junk info it gives you back junk data. Prof Gordon Blair has some really killer software, but you could probably buy a good used C5 for around the same price.

You're right, as always, Bret. But it sounded from the name of the software that it wouldn't be worth his time. Sounds more like a fantasy adventure video game than a tuning tool.
