Default Bang for the Buck

Right now my 94 LT1 A-4 has the following installed.

CAI
BBK Throttle Body
MSD Cap Rotor and Wires
160 Degree Thermostat
Flowmaster Catback

I have on the shelf ready to install.

Pacesetter Long Tubes
Off Road Y Pipe with a Cutout
3000 Stall Converter

I have some rear drag shocks on my Christmas list. Drag Radials and a Tune are planned for. Without tearing into the engine, what is my next best mod for performance increase per dollar? I'm thinking about swapping gears from 3.23 to either 3.73 or 4.10.

Oh yea, I'm not planning to spray it either.

Best bang for the buck -- look towards the bottle. It can be done extremely safely with very little negative effects on your motor as long as it is done correctly.

You're pretty much at the point with your car where you're going to need to start looking towards a heads/cam setup to really start seeing gains. There aren't any magic mods after all the basic stuff you've done. The converter, drag radials, and tune are really going to wake it up. Swapping to some 3.73s definately won't hurt either.

If you want to help your 60' more, then look into some LCAs and Relocation brackets.

best bang for the buck without nitrous is saving it up till you have another buck or two and then getting something decent, like a head and cam package. otherwise you'll be buying little onesy twosies that get you 2-12 rwhp like pullies and little bullshits. just my $.02
