HELP PLEASE! bad opti harness?

I just put a new opti on because my old one was "dead". i have the LTCC hooked up (just put it on while changing the opti). Put my old (thought was good) opti on, and nothing. bought another one and then i started shaking the opti harness around it it starts to click on and off and triggering the fuel pump. Does that mean my harness is bad and not making good connection? The ltcc will not light up and then when i jiggle the harness it will start flashing 3 red flashes.

Please help...

If the car is still apart, inspect the wires closely on the harness going down to the opti (along the passenger side of the intake manifold) and make sure there aren't any nicks or cracks in the wires themselves. Commonly the harness will be pretty toasted right near the connector.

had the same problem on my 95, put on a new harness ahd was good to go, the pin connectors on my harness were bad where it plugs into the opti, picked one up from chevrolet for like 45 bucks
