Got my TH350.. Now what
TCI makes an SFI approved LT1 flexplate that works with the stock starter. LT1's have a different tooth count from std SBC's and also have a counterweighted flexplate. I see youve built a 383 so depending on how your engine was balanced will determine if you use a LT1 specific or SBC flexplate.
The starter bolts to the engine and I see no reason it wouldnt work. Im using a stock starter with my th350.
DO you need a new DS? my stocker worked fine, but there are different Th350 with different tailshaft lengths. I have a short tailshaft th350 which is most desirable for using in an F car.
Dunno about the crossmemeber, mines a modded stock.
Buy a short Torque arm like spohn's.
Matt
Also my bottem end was internally balanaced from Eagle. So which flexplate do I need to get internal or external?

For the fewest issues, stay with the stock type starter/flexplate combination (153tooth). You need an SFI certified 153 tooth flexplate setup for a 1pc rear main seal engine, internally balanced.
Yes, that BMR crossmember will solve your mounting problems.
Short tail Th350 or not, they are slightly different in length than a 4L60 or T56, you will need a different driveshaft. Spohn.net sells them setup for your trans and rear end choices.
