Could this be partly responsible for my oil leak in the rear of the intake? The only time it seams to leak is when I am running the **** out of it.Is it a pop in/out like the ones that are usually found on the valve cover?

The one on the Valve Cover on this car should be just an elbow. It should go to the Throttle Body. The PCV is one of the in and out ones.
