Default got my pacesetter LT's today

There pretty nice, but i can honestley say you deff. get what you pay for. The welds inside the tubes are pretty sloppy. Im gonna have to port out my headers, lol, and grind down a lot of the weld that is really restricting the air flow. And the ory pipe is not the best quality. Theres such a small hold where the 2 join, i cut it in half and cut/grind out the one tube and re-weld it back up. But after a few hours of modifying there nice now. Cant wait to put them on. Anyone else "port" there pacesetters, lol.??? I know theres gonna be the people that are against me sayin how there the best bang for your buck hoopla, im not saying there not nice, i like them a lot, just wondering if anyone else did this to theres.

Mine might have a couple drops of stray weld inside. I didn't see anything that looked severe enough to warrant P/P them. I did have to have the driverside flange planed just a tad since it didn't meet up perfectly flush. I thought that was very minor.

Yea. Mine were fine. I got the Non-Emissions ones, so I don't know how good all that stuff is on them.

make sure u look into the o2 bung, ( i put my headers on a and when i went to put in the o2 sensors, there was a stray weld that got a way and almost 40 percent of the bung was filled. so i had to find a 90 degree drill and drill out the weld ( which is a beoch)_ and a half., but just heads up on that. --- took about an extra hour , becuase of the angle. -- but great headers though. ---OH AND DONT USE THE GASKETS THAT COME WITH THE HEADERS, -GARBAGE- I HAVE 1500 MILES ON MY HEADERS AND THEY ALREADY BLEW OUT THE PASSANGER SIDE. SO I HAVE TO RE DO MINE ANYHOW. USE THE PERCEY GASKETS.... GOOD LUCK . ONE OF THE BEST MODS ..

just make sure the flange that meets the head is perfectly flat. my pacesetters were not true and when i installed them i had a horrible exhaust leak on one side.

With the pacesetter LT's where does the ORY end up sitting? Someone told me the pipe ends up sitting right below the oil pan, which dosen't sound good?
