I had recently got a hold of a fully assembled LT1 short block only thing missing is the WP and heads. I does have oil it it and the pistons have never been removed and the walls look great not sign of wear I can actually still see the factory hone marks. My question is do I have anything to worry about storing it in my garage it is not heated but I didnt spray the Cylinder walls with some WD-40 to keep them lubed.

 

I don't think so! i would say cover it and make sure nothing gets into like snow for example, but it should be ok!

 

Coat the walls with a thin coat of motor oil, that's what I would do. Just a little added insurance.
