What do you guys think?
Cam: Comp "Extreme" 224/230
Rockers: Comp Magnum Self aligning 1.6's
Lifters: Comp "R"s
Pushrods: either Comp hardend 7.200's or Thunder Cro-moly 7.200's (only thing im not set on yet)
Springs: Crane spring and retainer Kit.
sound like a good plan to stick with or are a few things not up-to-par or overkill????? pretty new to Cam tech so before I start to go off buying the wrong stuff I'd like to get a lil input..but that is deff the cam Im going to running,
Thanks,
Chris
this is my list:
cc305 cam
1.6 NSA rockers- was told to get the "non self aligning" noticed you have the "sa"
hardened pushrods
springs
retainers
locks
all gaskets
timing chain- lt4
new sprocket -stock
I am also going to get the msd - cap and rotor for the opti.
My car has 94k so i figure that would help the opti out since it will be out during the install
Dont forget the gaskets you will need once you tear down the timing cover, water pump and intake. Also be sure to read up on the correct install of the intake manifold with the RTV sealant, you will prevent leakage this way.
