Default Timing

Whats the best way to set the timing myself I wanna have a controler to set it back if I want then turn it right back to stock.How do I hook the controler up?Or is it best to have it tuned into the ecu?How much timing would need pulled?

You have to tune the Timing on this car. The way it is designed has no adjustment that you can physically make, it is all Computer.

They couldn't believe that an Engine with a Distributor can't be mechanically adjusted. I was like that's why my **** is better..

MAF translator is a halfassed way to tune and should be left to vehicles with much harder to access computers.

Timing is controlled in the pcm, if you want to dial it back for juice or the like I would suggest an aftermarket ignition like the Malloy 685 which has a retard function, window switch and other good features for the bottle.

MSD makes stuff for this too.

Really it would be best if you told us why you want to do this and we could much more easily help you figure out what is the best way for you.

My answers were based on a nitrous guess, if boost look for a box with boost referencing for the retard.
