Mac shorties

Has anyone running Mac shorties experienced no power gain?I have been told by more than a few local modders that they didnt feel any gains with there shorties.

around here they say about 10hp..as opposed to 20-30 with LT's. It's all about scavenging the exhaust out of the system, and there just is not enough pipe involved in MIDS to do the job fully.

^MAC's are mids...I dont have dyno numbers but deff. felt a gain....I like mine

any header is better than the stock manifolds. I ran the mac mids for a while I only saw about 13rwhp with them before I upraded to LT's which showen 23rwhp gain... like said be for its all about scavanging(spelling). I actully mad more N/A hp with my mids and cat back than I do with my LT's and 3in duals with an X. But my nitrous gain with the new exhaust is well above what it was with the mids
