I have a 383 LT1 with the LE2 package and i got a computer tune from Madz28.com and the motor would ping just reving it. Then i got new 37# injectors and a new fuel pump and a tune from PCMforless and the ping is not as bad but still there; when i accelerate under load it is bad. The compression is like 11.5 to1, so I tried some 109 octane fuel and it's still there. Should i get it dyno tuned or what? If so where is a good place in South Texas. Also I converted it to OBD1; I also put a cloyes double roller timming chain and took out the crank sensor its a 96 camaro, don't know if any of this helps.
