Default Stock Suspension Record?

Searching 'Stock Supsension or Suspension Record' is turning nothing.

So....

Whats the fastest an LTx car has gone with stock suspension? Im not talking stock style either.

I mean how it came from the factory. All the stamped parts.

Has anybody even 'tried' to set that record? I would think its pretty pointless for a record of this type, but hell we have records for everything.

So if anybody knows please Chime in

Tony.

I ran stock everything, rear end (3.23) gear, stock tq arm, LCA, pan hard, bushing etc etc on a nitto drag radial.

I did a best of 12.084 at 113.00mph with a 1.7X 60 foot. I am sure its not the best but I have done it.

Combo, 383 w/ Hotcam, Ported heads, all bolt ons, 2000 stall with a 3700 pound race weight

Too be honest, I can't see how it would be very fast then. Most people who are into going real fast do the suspension mods first or have some kinnda shocks, panhard, torque arm. Hell I boxed my stock LCA's not that long after I bought my 94

Its a good question though, I would be curious to know what the limits of the stock suspension truly is.

Thats excatly what i thought.

Think about it, a High HP car is going to snap TQ arms left and right, its going to squat and launch like ****.

Why not make 800hp and run stock suspension, all the cool kids ARENT doing it.

I thought Tony did that stock 'style'?

I was always confused about that, when people say stock suspension its really like $7k in suspension but its stock style. No 4 Link or latterbars.

His new set up is "stock style"...but the 9.8 was "stock" other than TQ-arm...I knew he was stock or close to it , that is why I called him before posting
