Well in the morning i seem to be have a 1-2 second dely on the start, i have to hold the key in about 2 seconds till it starts. Why is it having trouble starting its pretty cold hear in the bay area nad i think iam useing 10W-30. But it dose start with high oil PSi and high volts but i was told this is normal in the morining cuz i have a new battery and iam not really useing the right oil for winter. Thanks for the help.

yea it'll crank like that because of three things..the cold, the oil, or possibly the plugs if they haven't been changed lately. the oil has to circulate enough to fire the engine without harm..but cold weather causes most cars to crank first.

 

I have noticed the same exact thing on cold days, takes a little longer to start, high oil pressure, and high volts. After the car is warmed up, the oil pressure goes down and so does volts. I think this is pretty normal.

 

Yeah, my car has been doing the same thing here in good ole' PA. It was in the 20's pretty much all last week.
