Default trick flow heads coolant port??

i have the TFS heads and went to go install the coolant sensor on the heads and realized the holes are a size bigger than stock and regular pipe size fittings do not fit. Anyone have idea's or run into this?

thanks in advance for the advice

This is not news, you just need to go get a sleeve at the hardware store.

The problem i am having is it is not NPT i.e. nominal pipe threads. The sensor is a different thread along with the head, i have tried to do the 1/2 npt to 3/8 fpt adapter won't thread.

TFS's earlier lt1 heads were made with this funky hole, and the newer style fit the stock size sensors. I will be starting my car up with one of those NPT threaded adapters that don't fit all that great.
