Flywheel ?? Hey guys,
I'm in need of a flywheel for my 95' LT1. My question is would any 1pc rear seal flywheel work or does it have to be a specific LT1 flywheel. I need to get my rotating assembly balanced and am going internal front and back so that's why I was wondering if I get the RAM internal one it would work??

It is T-56 specific for the LT1's. What I had done to my stock flywheel was removing the counterweight off of the back of the flywheel(Make sure to have the face resurfaced first). Then I went ahead and had it cryogenicly treated for strength (131% increase on alloy steel). Save some money for your balance job, as it took two slugs of mallory metal for my crankshaft. It usually costs about $100 per inch. The nice thing is my rotating assembly is now balanced to within 0.30 of a gram, bolth right and left bank, all the way to 8000 rpm. My machinest has a digital balancer that prints out each job after he is completed.
