Fix the paint job, two t-tops, new windshield, new hood......free 99. **coughinsurancecough** Im just glad I was wearing my helmet. It was pretty wicked having the hood come up. Kind of like coming off the starting line and hanging the tires. One second you are looking down the track and as soon as you see green you see nothing by sky, or in my case orange. Definitely convinced me to always wear a helmet

to make a long story short....I broke a rocker stud nut......while on the bottle...
I was making a test pass...and I had to tow my car over 100miles....lol
thank god...for AAA

 

I didn't notice it..where did it happen? The fire coming out from under it?
I spun a main taking off of the line, and all the way down the 1/4 when mine went. Made a 14.1 @ 95 pass when it happened, and it still beat the Mustang next to me.
I towed it back with a truck that I borrowed from one of the guys at work. This was in Memphis, I am near Little Rock.

thats pretty impressive.. Good work.. Now what all are you classifing as stock internals, - stock bottom end,
or stock cam, stock valves, stock rotating assembly and what not..
just kinda curious..

 

I have got to give you some HUGE credit for that one there man! NICE JOB on the save!!!!!, my car has scraped the wall once on the driver side.. the people i got it off of used to run 10's with it...then they scraped the wall, and somehow blew the engine up and rebuilt it "almost" to stock and sold it to me...
