The mustang ran a best of 14.90 according to http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html With this at hand due to the lack of mods to the rx-7 you should kill em'. If you have ever ran a mustang coupe before it should be the same results. You can find the specs on both of the cars at edmunds on the inter web.

That guy should have put a bowtie motor in there.
My motor isn't any more modded than his, and I've never been slower than high 12's. They were also wrong about my 93 Camaro it says they run 14.40. It ran a 14.02 bone stock. It was a guidline. Also maybe you had what they call a Wednesday car. Maybe it just run better than other stock mustangs. Also keep in mind the rx-7 is an auto. If it isn't a c4 the AOD will slow it down alot more. I know my camaro with the headers and the cai outrun a 94 5.0 5 speed with full exhaust and a 100 shot from a roll. I think the T/A has the RX-7 covered.

I think most people will put in an automatic for ease of mod, which we all know early ford aod blow chunks. A few well done 302s might be quick, but from what I've witness it really is a few. So bash me all ye like
