whats the max lift that stock LT-1 valve springs can handle?

They're pretty much limited to the stock cam and rockers. Anything larger you should upgrade the springs to at least an LT4 spring.

For all the work you do and not to put springs on it will be horrific. Just putting on 1.6 rockers is a no no with out a spring upgrade. LT4's are cheap, but so are the retainers, they have been many of death to motors.
