on my 97 pass. side the wiring harness goes down to the transmission and o2 sensors its wraped in alum. tape from the factory. the problem with my setup is that its getting burned by the headers and melted a wire. should i cut the harness and extend it so i could run it down the back of the motor so it won't see the heat?

 

Mine does that too, I think they all do that. I got it to rest along the side of the Engine Compartment away from the Header so it doesn't get roasted. I also wrapped the lower part of it in Aluminum Foil, it works.
