Replacing LT1 barings
Thanks in advance.
It's not that hard to do, but the bitch is getting it out of the Car, that's alot of work for just that. Why do you want to replace them?

Well the idea was just to get the car back up and running by replacing the rod bearings since the #3 likes to make a rod knocking noise under a load and gets louder as the car returns to idle. Didn't figure it was a good idea to keep driving the car but could replace the rod barings and the valve springs while I'm at it?
It was just a thought so I could keep saving money and just drive it normally for a while. I've already got some parts for the motor, just need more $$$ like usual. Thanks for the advice.
The baring may not be spun but I don't think it would be long before it did. I've helped a friend pull his LT1 so I'm familiar with what a bitch it is to pull the motor. We have a cherry picker and a engine stand so that part is covered.
