Default Plug wires

Just picked up my MSD pro billet opti distributor and want to do the wires, had tailor befor but they didn't work out so well after headers were installed,
I need a good brand that I can "cut to length" or wires that work with headers.

Do a search -- there is a thread on plug wires that was pretty recent.

But to give you some quick info:
I'm running the MSD 8.5s that are cut to length with taylor black heat shields. I ran the entire passenger side over the valve cover and used moroso looms to keep them organized. On the driver's side I ran the wires for 1 and 3 underneath (much easier) and 5 and 7 up and over.

How hard is it to run the wires over the valve covers?

I'm always kinda worried about the pass. side, I don't like the holder by the pulley, I always worry about the belt or pulley damaging the wires someday.

I burned magnacore wires before -- so I figure its "better safe than sorry" at this point. No complaints with the MSDs or the heat shields

I was a little concerned at first until I actually did it. Run the wires from the opti flat (one next to each other) along alternator bracket (you can see it in the 3rd pic) and pull them tight and you've got more than enough clearance from the belt/pulley damaging them. For some insurance I ziptied the wires to the alternator bracket when I pulled them tight and I haven't had any issues. I got a little ziptie happy with the wires along with the looms just to make sure I wouldn't run into any issues with them contacting the headers as well.
